Would it be cheaper it to book it through Expedia, or Cheap Tickets, or through the acutal rental place web site or just get it when we get there?

better book beforehand… both for price and availability.

book it prior, that way you are getting a good competitive rate ahead of time….when you get there you will have to pay whatever they want…and normally not discounted….
or even worse they have no car to rent……..

Book online in advance. Online companies usually have early bird specials and they give better rates than actual reputable car rental companies. Have a look at the link below for online rates..
